Making toast

In science this term, class 2 have been looking at changing materials. This week we were looking to see how bread changes when it is heated to make toast. The children each had a piece of bread that they had to look at closely, measure and weigh and then it was toasted. The children then repeated the measurements of before to see what changes had occurred. Why don’t you try this for yourself and see if what you think will happen actually happens.
