Reptilian visitors
July 11, 2010
At the moment class 2 are reading the book “Class two went to the zoo”, in which an anaconda follows the children and tries to eat them. To find out more about snakes we asked Mr Rogers (parent at the school) to bring in some of his more unusual pets. He kindly obliged and brought in one of his 13 bearded dragon, Bart and Jake, a corn snake. The children enjoyed seeing these animals up close and most of them touched them to see how they felt. I’m not sure that some of the staff enjoyed their visit quite as much!
