Parents Visits - Access to School
The school welcomes visits by parents. Where the matter is urgent, every effort will be made to accommodate the parent immediately. All access doors are kept locked during lesson times for security purposes.Car Parking – for safety and practicality reasons, parents are requested not to bring their cars down the school drive.For health reasons we encourage parents living close to the school to walk their children to school. Those living further afield are advised to park at the Gwaun Ruperra car park and walk the two hundred metres or so from there.Teachers are usually available after 3.30pm every day to respond informally to any concerns or questions you have. To be certain of staff availability, please make appointments as the staff may have family commitments too.If you wish to see a staff member at the start of the school day please see Mr.Emanuel as the other staff have classes to teach.Mr.Emanuel’s usual teaching commitment are;Wednesday – 11.00-12:15 - R.E.Thursday - 10.25 – 12:15 p.m. – swimming.Assemblies – Between 9.15 and 9.40, Mon. and Fri. Between 1:15-1:40 Thurs.Please make appointments and visits outside these times.A friendly and supportive relationship between school and home is essential. Every effort will be made to ensure this is possible.
