The choir have been invited to sing alongside Treorchy Male Voice Choir at the Beating of the Bounds this year. This is going to be very exciting and we will begin practising very soon. We will keep you posted.
CHRISTMAS 2016
Again this year, we were very busy singing around the community. A huge thanks to Vicar Viv Parkinson and Gwaunruperra Residential Home who supported us this year.
the big lunch - sunday june 12th, 2016
The school choir have been invited to sing at the Big Lunch event on Sunday, June 12th 2016. Our very own local Historian, Dean Powell, has asked to attend the event and sing a few songs. We will be holding a stall as we hope to share with the community the good work that goes on at the school. I hope that you can all be there to support us and sing along. So make a note in your diaries and hop along to the Castle Green on the 12th to join in the fun! A song list with some accompanying lyrics will be posted very soon.
Choir practise is held every Thursday in Dosbarth Glas at 12.45pm and is open to children from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. We will be busy practising for our Eisteddfod this term after our successful Christmas Carol concert up the church in December.
