STEM Workshop
Our annual STEM week has, once again, been a huge success! The children have enjoyed a variety of experiments within their respective classes, with many of these being on show during our open afternoon. The volume of information that the children retained was evident as they explained the many different processes to their parents and grandparents. Thank you all for attending and helping to make the afternoon such a success.

Comic Relief Talent Show
The Comic Relief celebrations got under way today with lots of red noses and some very crazy haristyles! The talent show was also thoroughly entertaining and enjoyed by all who saw it. The acts had all put a tremendous amount of effort into their performances, which made so hard to choose a winner that a joint first position was awarded! Add to that, a total sum of £220 was raised. What a fantastic show of support! Well done everybody!!
Internet Safety Workshop
|
This week, we held an Internet Safety workshop for the children and parents of Dosbarth Glas. It was produced and led by BT, to support our commitment of becoming a Rights Respecting School. The aim of the workshop was to highlight the importance of being careful with sharing information - especially personal details, online. It provided opportunities for the children to discuss facts and thoughts with their parents and staff, as well as supporting each other. The children answered well to the many points raised and all developed more awareness of the importance of talking to their parents about staying safe online. A big 'thank you' to the parents that were able to attend also.

School Eisteddfod 2017
St David's Day was, once again, celebrated with a very successful Eisteddfod here at Llantrisant Primary. We were very pleased to welcome some of our Governors, who had the difficult task of judging our art and handwriting competitions. Each class participated further by performing either songs, poems or folk dancing during the afternoon. A wonderful afernoon was had by all!
