All competitions are now closed.  The summer club has now finished for this academic year and will return in September 2016.

In the meantime, have a look at the compeition below!  Remember you don't have to be at competition club to enter the compeititons.  Keep an eye for them here too!! All entries need to be given to Mrs Geary.

COMPETITION CLUB STARTS BACK TUESDAY 26TH APRIL!!!!

WE have a huge challenge ahead of us....have a look below!

The PTA have started organsing the Summer Fair.
This year there we will be giving out brochures to advertise local buinesses and promote our school.
The PTA have decided to set a challenge for the pupils....the challenge is to design a front cover for the brochure.

The rules and guidelines are below.

• Pupils of all ages can enter
• You dont have to be part of the Competition club to enter, this competition is for all pupils in the school
• There is no limit on how many entries you can submit
• The poster can be no bigger than A4
  
• The design should prefrable on A4 potrait
  
• Please ensure your full name and class is on the back of the poster
• You can use pencils, crayons and pens (no paint)
• Entries must be given to Mrs Geary by Friday 3rd June
  
• All posters have to conatin the following things:-
  • The name of our school
  • The words 'Summer Fair'
  • The date of the fair- Friday 8th July
  • The time of the fair - 3.30pm
  • A food advert- burgers, sausages, pop, drinks
    
  • A bouncy castle

At the summer fair the pupils will also be selling their items on their entrepreneurial stalls, there will be craft stalls, bubble making, face painting, music, food, a raffle, games, a white elephant stall, prizes and lots more!!
The poster will be shrunk down in size from A4 so please bare this in mind when you are adding detail to it.

The winning post will be used as our brochure cover.  If you have any questions, please ask Mrs Geary

Competition Club

Mrs Geary will be running a competition club.  The school is often inundated with competitions, we thought it would be nice to spend some time entering them and hopefully winning money and prizes for the school.
Some of the competitions will involve pupils being filmed and photographed, Many of the competition are art and design based.
Come along with lots of fresh ideas and enjoy.

Competition Club is gong to be held in the spare classroom on a Tuesday 3.30pm- 4.15pm for pupils from year 2 to Year 6.
You do not need to provide anything as pencils/pens/paper etc will all be prepared ready.

Some of the competitions have quite short timescales so please be prepared to work hard!!
